Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) – Energy Services

$36.75

Duration: 5–9 hours online

Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) introduces participants to the TDG Act and regulations and explains the requirements for receiving, handling, transporting and shipping dangerous goods, as well as the appropriate response in emergency situations such as spills or accidents.

TDG regulations require that, with few exceptions, all persons engaged in the handling, offering for transport or transporting of dangerous goods be trained in the aspects of handling such goods.

The TDG for Energy Services course has been a collaborative effort of the Canadian Red Cross and the Canadian Oil and Heat Association (COHA). The course material has been reviewed and revised by an expert in association with COHA.

Completion: At the end of each module, there is a test. Participants must successfully complete the test before continuing to the next module. Participants that do not achieve 100% can review the module content and try as many times as necessary to advance and complete the course.

Certification: Upon successfully completing all modules, there is a printable certificate for your records. The TDG ‘Clear Language’ Training Certificate is valid for 3 years.  This certificate must be signed by your employer/designated manager to be considered valid. Self-employed persons may sign their own certificate.

This course is non-refundable. Available in English only.
